ca bus crashAug. 2, 2016

A Mexico motorcoach traveling from Mexico to Washington State went off the highway, and was sliced by a highway pole reminiscent of the tragedy in New Rochelle, NY five years ago. Five passengers were fatally injured, many more seriously injured, including the driver. The white painted bus “Autobuses Coordinados USA” veered off the road a little after 3:00 AM this morning. It appears the driver was about to be relieved in Livingston, Ca. by a relief driver. He either failed to negotiate an early ramp (Liberty Ave, Exit 200), or exited the roadway one mile short of his designated route (Hammatt Ave, Exit 201) when the accident happened.
