The Port Authority Bus Terminal’s decision to award a design contract based on a new location: 38th to 40th St./Ninth Ave to 11 Avenue, has recently drawn stiff opposition from local Hell’s Kitchen residents and community leaders. Although the PABT has theoretically agreed to $10 Billion for the new terminal, it may be a pipe dream, if local officials succeed in halting this important improvement to the InterCity bus and Commuter bus infrastructure of New York City.
